Hammersmith is a district in west London, England, located within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is situated on the north bank of the River Thames and is home to many shops, restaurants, and commercial businesses. The area also has a number of notable landmarks, including the Hammersmith Apollo theatre, the Riverside Studios, and the Lyric Hammersmith theatre. The Hammersmith Bridge, which spans the Thames, connects the district to Barnes in the south.
