Check out these five gram-worthy landmarks of London where you will find the best restaurants, cafes, dessert nooks, shopping, lights, and décor all in one place. Do not worry even if you do not live anywhere near central London, you can hop on to your nearest train which takes you to Kings Cross in less than 45 minutes! So, gather your friends and family to explore some amazing streets which are nothing less than Times Square, NY.
Covent Garden

It looks nothing like a garden but a very large street with tons of cute restaurants – All in One Bar, Frenchie, Avobar, Tea joints, street food carts, big branded showrooms like Dior, Fendi, Moschino. The squares are set up with themed decorations and street performers, so you can sing and dance along with them – my idea of a perfect celebration! Watch a theatrical drama at the corner mall – do book tickets in advance so you will not have to queue. Check out the innovative and posh oriental restaurants with Michelin star ratings in the same vicinity. I guarantee you will not miss out anything once you are here.
The Power Co.

Can I say this is peak London high street place with state-of-the-art architecture? You will be in awe of the modern buildings, a power company converted into a food court with famous restaurants selling their best that you can sample. There are just so many options here – you can walk around, buy traditional British sweets, soaps, mittens which are handmade so you can be assured of their organic quality. This place also has a Jo Milano ice skating rink which is so fun you would not want to get out once you are in. The Power Co. is besides a river bank with beautiful skyline view of London lined with pretty Christmas lights. You can just stroll around here and watch fireworks as the New Year sets in. A picture perfect New Years’s Eve date idea we think.

Camden Local Market

Another one of my favourite places to have crazy fun with my friends. This whole place has a very creative vibe. Watch out for dirt cheap souvenir shops, ethnic stores, street food, street performers, the Nutella stalls magnetically pulling you towards them. Cobbled streets with restaurants on both sides, you can find a ton of vegan options here too! Check out the cute riverside restaurants with oriental trees and boats available for a Venice experience in the heart of London! I recommend, you explore both sides of Camden local market with expensive and budget stores where you can buy handmade candles, incense sticks, paintings, flower jewellery, loads of crystal kiosks and small gifts for your loved ones.

Harrods Street

Besides the oh-so-glam Harrods shopping mall, this place has a lot to offer. Just standing on the streets here is an experience you must go for. Music blasting from all corners, street food, food caravans, little restaurants from every country possible, shimmering lights on every building will put you in the celebratory mood irrespective of everything. These streets have a lot of nail salons so if you and your friends can get your nails done before setting foot into the new year with style and elegance. You will find outdoor seating cafes here which give you a very Parisian vibe since this is probably the most expensive real estate in London. You can enjoy the view of the most luxurious cars passing by on this street and feel rich on your New Year’s Eve.
Tower Bridge

This is a landmark destination in London for the architectural marvel of this bridge and because some of London’s poshest restaurants surround it. After a hearty meal, you can take a walk down this bridge and watch the fireworks from there. Few things will come close to this romantic and adventurous experience. There is ample space to walk on the side lanes on the bridge and you are sure to get some of your best Instagram pictures clicked here. This area is also known for London’s best clubs you can visit. Good food, good music, great company, and a fantastic location! What else can you ask for on a New Year.

Out of all my trips to London, I found these to be the worthiest of my time and money. So go on and book your train tickets to celebrate the last day of this year in London’s best locations!
